Beware India, control air pollution! Nearly 5.5 deaths annually worldwide
Asthma, choking, respiratory disorders, breathlessness, all are a gift of the rising levels of pollution. You will be shocked to know that almost 5.5 million people succumb to death annually because of the dangerous air pollution. The whole globe is experiencing the effects of global warming and air pollution. The people on the planet are facing the worst jeopardy of their lives-they are a target for the fatal air pollution. Shocking news is that half of the deaths calculated are in India and China. That is not good news!
Rapid industrialization that causes carbon emissions is the main reason for pollution. The two countries are still depending on coal-based power plants and in turn they are producing the energy that is required for the economic growth of the countries. As it is a well known fact that the economic status of the world is a little shaky, India and China seem to be surging ahead with success . The Western countries are busy searching for new business outlets and they are largely choosing India and China as their destination. These two countries are providing new markets for locally manufactures products.
Recently the Yuan fell and this seemed to shake the World Stock Market went spiraling downwards. China works harder and the use of coal leads to the production of tiny particles and smog. This coupled with an increasingly aging population causes distress in the country. India experiences burning of fuel wood, agricultural wastes and dried cow dung to cook food. This causes the particles to rise up and raise the air pollution levels in the country. Internal and external factors contribute to the air pollution. The recent trouble mark is the construction of coal-fired power plants in the country to increase the production of power. Rapid industrialization or rapidly increasing air pollution- what is it going to be? We have to decide and pick a step to control the air pollution, now!
