This time it’s Munich in Germany! A busy shopping mall in Munich ‘Olympia center’ was stunned into shock, when shots were fired incessantly by a gunman and several people died. Munich Police were saying that there may be more than one person with arms in the mall and many people have succumbed to their injuries in the shootout. But now reports say a lone gunman is said to have ended his life after the heinous act.
A gunman had been noticed running through the mall, firing incessantly at innocent people and then he had dashed for the metro station. The Munich Police reported more than one attacker at the mall but then confirmed that the act was done by a lone shooter who later committed suicide. Nobody has been arrested in the act so far. Earlier reports are saying that in the Munich shopping mall shootout, nearly 3 shooters were a part of the brutal attack and 9 are confirmed dead
The Police active in the area have confirmed “There is a major police operation under way in the shopping centre,” and the people have been asked to stay away. The Police tweet stated Attention — avoid the neighborhood around the OEZ. Stay in your homes. Leave the street,” in wake of the aggression. The transport authorities of Munich stopped many train, tram lines and buses.
Police have their hands full as they are busy trying to get people out of the mall but many of them are reported hiding in the area. People have confirmed that a number of shots were fired. An employee was heard stating, “I can’t say how many but it’s been a lot.” Muencher Abendzeitung has reported the death of almost 15 people, but the latest reports state 9 people have died in the shootout.
The German Police Special Forces have been summoned to the crime scene which is right next to the “Munich Olympic stadium, where the Palestinian militant group Black September took 11 Israeli athletes hostage and eventually killed them during the 1972 Olympic Games.”
The Munich shopping mall incident has taken place just about a week after a young 17 year old boy seeking asylum had wounded passengers with an axe aboard a train. The teenager had been shot dead by the Bavarian Police but he had managed to injure a few people on the train.
The Friday incident started at the McDonald café and then the shooter went for the Olympia center in Munich. After the shootout the Munich 
Police tweeted, “We found a man who killed himself. We assume that he was the only shooter.” The murderous act may be acts of terrorism, say the authorities!
