While Samsung is gearing up towards a rumoured launch of Galaxy S7 at Mobile World Mobile Congress in Barcelona on February 20th, 2016, major leaks of the gadgets have surfaced online.

Pictures of key details like the design and specs of the tech giant’s new flagship handset allegedly come in the form of a presentation slide from someone who “claims to be a Samsung employee”.

If the images sent to the tech website, “Phone Arena” are to be believed then S7 looks almost identical to the Galaxy S6 except for some aesthetic tweaks.

However, the internals has been revamped. The handset features a 5.1-inch display size with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy S7 is equipped with hefty 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage.

That’s not all! The slides suggest the S7 will be dust and water resistant. The leaks also indicate, the smartphone will flaunt a 12-megapixel BRITECELL and it will sport either a Snapdragon 820 or the Exynos 8890 processor.  The S7 will have a 3000mAh battery charged via the new USB Type-C technology.

The new device has not yet been officially announced but is expected to be introduced in February end and released commercially in March 2016. Well, these are just speculations, so it’s best to treat the news with a caution.  With the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain just a few weeks away, we will soon have an official statement from Samsung.
