After images got leaked of LEX720 smartphone developed by Chinese company LeEco (Leshi Internet Information & Technology), the internet got a lot of buzz. The leaked images were reported by Gizmochina website. What was shocking about the pictures is that there were many similarities to Apples’s iPhone 7 which is not released yet. Many people are calling it a copycat move by the company.
The leaked images are showing just a prototype of the LEX720 smartphone. Le Eco’s recently released Le Max 2 also created some major news with its 6GB RAM, with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The similarities were eyebrow raising, as the images showed dual lens setup with dual LED flash. In addition to, that the design also looked pretty same to iPhone 7plus.
Thick bands on the top and bottom edges also pinpoint to similarities with an iPhone 7 Plus. While still at a speculation stage as bot
h of smartphones have not been released yet, it is still pretty weird to see so many similarities.
LeEco’s LEX720 is always surrounded in controversies and rumors. Recently it scored 154,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarking app. Apart from this, AnTuTu also gave out some specification for the LeEco’s next smartphone which includes 32GB internal storage.
Antutu also reported that this beast of a smartphone will also have 4GB of RAM and will feature 1080p resolution, with a 16-megapixel camera.
While many fans are salivating for the release of Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus, LeEco is also a very popular topic among fans . There are only a couple of smartphones with dual cameras presently in the market. If the rumors and leaked images are to be believed it is a great news for all the tech savvies.
