Prime minister virtually inaugurated Zen garden in Ahmedabad
Our Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Japanese Zen Garden and Kaizen Academy in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has always been inquisitive about relations between our country and other nations. Residing in Ahmedabad Management Association, ATIRA Campus, this garden exhibits several elements of Japanese culture, art, architecture and landscape. In the pictures shared by the PM, we can see an elegant statue of buddha, and how glorious and magnificent the garden looks when lit at night.
He addressed and thanked Governor Toshizoldo, leaders of Hyogo Prefecture and Hyogo international association for their assistance. This garden is built as a joint venture between the study centre at AMA and the indo-japan friendship association (IFJA), supported by Hyogo international association Japan.
PM declared that this garden is a symbol of spontaneity and modernity between relations of India and Japan and people will feel the same peace and simplicity they do while doing yoga. He called attention to an intriguing resemblance between the word ‘Zen’ and ‘Dhyan’ which means inner peace brings outer progress and growth. He added that Kaizen’s internal and external meaning not only means improvement but persistent improvement. The garden denotes yin and yang – wind and water, two elements that connect earth and sky.
Prime minister said that as chief minister he implemented kaizen related experiences to Gujarat administrations, prime minister office (PMO), and other central government departments which resulted in positive improvements in governance.
Along with PM, Uttrakhand’s chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat also shared mesmerising pictures of the zen garden on Twitter and wrote a caption ‘simpy beautiful’.
This garden will attract tourism to Gujarat and will always stand as a strong symbol of India’s relation with Japan.
