Has third wave already hit India?

According to experts India might have hit third wave already.

With the spread of the delta virus across the country, India has been bracing itself for the third wave, which may have already begun, according to researchers.

India has recorded 38,792 new cases with while overall cases push out to more than 3.1 crores.

According to dr. Vipin Srivastava, a distinguished physicist and vice-chancellor at the University of Hyderabad, the country’s covid pattern has been altered, and the third wave may have impacted India as early as July 4th.

According to him, the daily death load ( DDL) swings a lot when there is a crossover from an increasing trend to a declining trend in daily fatalities.

He devised a mechanism for detecting a pattern by tracking the number of deaths and cases over the previous 463 days. The Fourth of July appears to be comparable to what it was in February of this year when the second wave arrived.

We were all extremely relaxed as the death rate dropped below 100 deaths and the DDL exhibited dramatic oscillations, but it was a warning that something dangerous was on the way, which happened in the face of the second wave of covid.

And similar patterns and behaviour are being observed since July 4. The negative DDL is not a good sign.

Having survived the devastating second wave of covid, we should be extremely cautious of the third wave. Just because we have vaccines doesn’t mean it won’t be just as dangerous as nature is not in our control.
